Some 35 teachers drawn from the Centre and West Regions of Cameroon have been urged to become change makes and address issues relating to Gender Base Violence, GBV in the their respective institutions. The call was made on August 12 in Yaounde during a seminar that was organised by Non-Governmental Organisation, NGO, Gender Empowerment and Development, GeED. The two-day training seminar was aimed at increasing the knowledge of teachers on the manifestations of violence, and proposes solutions to the problems such as readjusting their manner of teaching and imposing good rules and regulations.
